For the longest time, being a fan of Video Games and any fictional media like Anime where they always have some super cool moves where they announce it, the world shakes, sound effects play, and havoc is bestowed on the other character who can either match that characters power or gets defeated in mere seconds. To me, I found that really cool. Now, one could argue that in an actual fight, announcing moves would be a dead giveaway. Also, no one has time to say this three page essay of a super move that could’ve been dodged during the time the character announced it.
Regardless, it wasn’t meant to be realistic. These forms of media are meant to tell a story in a way where people can enjoy the super cool fight scenes and moves but find a deeper meaning behind character motivations and their goals, and relate to them. Will I ever be able to emit fire from my hands, create wind gusts, summon lightning, or manipulate water? No, but it looks so cool and it helps to tell a bigger story in a way where I, and many are engaged.
Recently on Social Media, I have been motivated to try drawing my own ideas for super powers. These videos involves people drawing super powers with stick figures. Not only do the powers get creative, but the drawings are so cool. There is not one specific person I can give credit to, because there are so many people who have done this. If you want to see what other cool things people have drawn with stick figures and super powers, or even just see what anyone has drawn in general, search it up! You will find hundreds if not thousands of incredible drawings.

Concept Drawing #1: Abyssal Scream
These names for moves are obviously inspired by how edgy yet cool sounding super moves are when it comes to Anime and Video Games. This move would be apart of an element of Chaos. Chaos would involve the themes of destruction, havoc, darkness, void. I tried to catch the feel of an element like this feeling unstable, angry, and powerful with my attempt at intense shading of the words and the dark energy ball with the colours swirling around.

Concept Drawing #3: Energy Cyclone
While Chaos is meant to feel more aggressive, the element of Energy I have on here is meant to feel more different. While it can be destructive in nature, Energy is meant for more than just harming. Energy is the fundamental source for anything, so to have pure energy, I imagined it to be green with small little stars swirling around in it. I feel like the swirl of the energy around the ball is meant to feel more controlled and less chaotic than the previous drawing.
I have so many more elements and powers I can make, including the ones I have already shown off. These drawings are definitely not the best, but they capture my childlike self who always wanted to know how it feels to create spheres of energy with my own hands.
More will come soon!
